Please note that we will only consider candidates who can fluently communicate in Spanish and reside within the same hour (+/-2) time zone of Spain. This requirement is essential for effective communication and collaboration within our team.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, configuration, deployment, and operation of a cloud or on-premise solution.
- Design, maintenance, and integration of infrastructures to support our development projects.
- Design, implementation, and maintenance of best practices CI/CD to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Preparation and execution of application deployments on premises or public cloud.
- Supporting, preparing, and training our developers in the use of new tools, teaching them to solve problems autonomously.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that our development environments and tools meet our requirements and reduce the burden on our developers.
- Implementation of deployment and operation schemes following market security standards.
- Design of metrics, alerts, and suggestions for possible optimizations in the observability of the solution.
Skills:
- Previous experience in one of the major public clouds (AWS, Azure).
- Experience in deployment and operation of systems on AWS and/or Azure.
- 2-4 years of experience working in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
- Previous experience with configuration management and/or automation tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- Experience in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Previous experience working with: Kubernetes, version control tools (GitLab, GitHub), CI tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), GitOps paradigm (ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize), and observability tools (Grafana, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, New Relic).
- Good level of English and Spanish.
Nice to have:
- Good understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations and their impact on pricing.
- Experience in resource and cost optimization in AWS and/or Azure.
