MTC Namibia, the largest telecommunications service provider in Namibia, offers a comprehensive range of mobile and data services. The company is dedicated to delivering communication solutions to both urban and rural communities, striving for innovation and excellence in service delivery.

Context

EWE, one of Germany's leading telecommunications and energy providers, has partnered with Alvatross to modernize and replace their existing OSS (Operational Support Systems). The project focuses on streamlining service delivery, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering innovation by transforming EWE’s telecommunications services, including critical components like fiber internet and dedicated leased lines.

Challenges

EWE faced multiple challenges in their OSS transformation journey, including the complexity of integrating modern solutions with legacy systems, ensuring compatibility across proprietary and hybrid inventories, and creating a seamless user experience for service delivery.  The company needed a unified, automated system to reduce manual interventions, optimize workflows, and enhance customer satisfaction while supporting a flexible, scalable infrastructure for future growth.
