On 30.06.2022 we heard the great news. Both our entries − Alvatross by Satec: a new OSS entrant born with an ODA DNA and MTC Namibia OSS: Towards an open digital architecture − have been selected as finalist for TM Forum’s 15th Excellence Awards 2022. Winners will be announced during the first day of the Digital Transformation World (DTW) global event on 20 September 2022 at The Bella Centre, Copenhagen.
Mapping to one of TM Forum’s core themes: AI, data & insights; Autonomous operations; Cloud native IT & networks; Customer experience & trust; Beyond connectivity; Sustainability and The human factor, the awards program has been accrediting leading companies for their inventive achievements since 2007.
“Congratulations to the finalists for this year’s prestigious Excellence Awards,” said Nik Willetts, CEO, TM Forum. “The entries selected by our impartial judging panel recognize the exceptional companies, people, projects and technology innovation within our industry. Its inspirational to see our finalists pave the way for change and transformation, we’re excited and proud to work alongside them to deliver new and innovative solutions that will shape our digital future. I look forward to congratulating the winners in September.”
“When last month we heard our company had been nominated in two different categories we certainly did not expect the honor of also being selected as finalists. We put all our efforts into helping our clients be able to solve some of their most pressing challenges in network operations so they can harness the true potential of an upgraded infrastructure and offer high-quality products to meet the demands of their own customers. The market trend towards cloudification shows the important role that our solution plays in any telecommunications operator’s ecosystem. Yet, the human factor and the ability of our team to do things properly and efficiently is our most important asset. Now, we keep reaping the rewards of our hard work. And we feel immensely honored and motivated to continue with the good work, which is certainly a good cause for celebration.”
