Alvatross by SATEC is excited to launch a new offer for the OSS transformation needs of regional and city carriers. We will make available selected parts of our OSS software portfolio on a pay-as-you-grow basis, including on-premise deployments. We are extending the consumption model of public cloud to private cloud in order to lower the barrier for smaller carriers to modernize and future-proof their OSS stack. The proposition adds to the leverage FTTx companies rely on to build their infrastructure.
Alvatross will launch this offer during its participation in Connected Germany 2022, taking place in Mainz on 5 and 6 April 2022. Luis Rodriguez-Ovejero Gomez, head of the Alvatross BU and member of the SATEC board: “We chose this event because we believe that Spain’s experience with broadband deployment could be very valuable for Germany. Spain’s FTTH/B penetration is higher today than the one forecast for Germany in 5 years from now. The city and regional carriers active in the German FTTH/B market should be very interested in what we have to offer. Not only in the economics of our solution, but also in its architectural principles. Indeed, like in Spain, consolidation will occur in Germany at some point in the future. Misaligned IT architectures will hamper the ability of the parties to realize the full benefits of this consolidation”.
